I’ve got a new DIY project up at the Chalkboard Mag…see it here...
The Chalkboard asked me to do a column from time to time with them…and I’m really excited about the possibilities and the site. The site is “a study in living well” and covers all the bases most of us are trying to cover most of the time. It’s a bit refreshing for a site to be calm, informative, and “slow” in a good way: as opposed to the frenzy of most internet activity…you can check out my DIY here as well as the rest of the site.
All the beautiful photos for the DIY are by Paley Fairman, and she was nice enough to model our finished necklace as well.
and refinery29 just featured our Spring 12 lookbook…
came across Apolis yesterday in a funny way: at UPS I stood next to one of their packages and really liked it.
It’s a great concept and a great line and collection of objects for the well dressed man: and I love the way the site is shot and organized too!
you could play hipster dress up (while it’s kinda like hipster circa 1990s dress up or people who buy things from stores to dress like a hipster dress up, it’s still amusing).
here is my hipster:
get ready to actually enjoy shopping again….Uncovet.com launches soon, and is the brainchild of my good friend with great taste, Heather Lipner. This site finds all the cute, hard to find unique things that make shopping on the internet fun….except for that usually they are quite hard to find and who has the time?
Racked LA has a sneak peak of the new site here. In the time before the site launches, you can pre-sign up at uncovet.com, and if you share with 3 friends, you get the chance to win a Leica camera as well. Lucky ladies.
Whitney sent this blog over…and as a (lasped, current, future) tomboy (but one who wears makeup now sometimes)…I’m a big fan of Lizzie Garret’s Tomboy Style.
