from our studio are the band Fidlar ( @FidlarLA ) and they are blowing up…they are a virtual mini factory right now outside in the back of the studio: making tees for tour, and when their records arrived yesterday: I heard cheers.

They have a new song with Kate Nash that’s actually really sweet and reminds me of bands I liked in high school (in a good way)….you can hear it here.

we watched Valerie and her Week of Wonder (love me some Czech New Wave…altho my Czech these days is totally spatne)

and also Mala Noche, Gus Van Sant’s first film (which felt totally contemporary)
