I ‘ve always really liked Grant Krajecki’s Grey Ant line: I love that it’s inventive and referential. When I could splurge on clothes the first thing I bought was the high waisted jeans (although i had to spend a fair chunk getting them altered…but that’s probably new york’s fault more than Mr. Krajecki’s but …, or my waist to hip ratio: that could be the issue:).

I found a ton of great ones at the Fairfax market recently: I recommend them all around: on your cardigan, blazer or even scarf a la bargain balenciaga.
so, in addition to being the only playable board game ever (and by playable I mean for hours), the 1972 edition of clue is beautifully designed.
the board uses great patterns to stand in for the rooms and the photocards are fantastic. All subsequent versions I’ve owned (3 at last count, but it is hannukah…) pale by comparison.
