organic fraud
I think one of the scariest things about being a small eco designer is how much i have to trust other companies: I buy fabric that states its content: organic, recycled, etc, and I dye my fabric in a low impact/eco way….but I don’t have a team to follow up or investigate: I have to take everything at face value.
Now giant H&M and other large companies might have had organic or eco fabric that actually wasn’t…accountability is super weird here…if all fabric had to be organic and sustainably produced we wouldn’t run into these problems.
