our friends Kristin and Shin had us over for an amazing donabe dinner last week

thinking we should get a donabe pot once we build our house: this current kitchen has no room for thinking, or storage.

There are a bunch on Ebay and online.

Kristin and Shin have great vintage Japanese workwear in their store, Iko Iko right now…

    this is exactly the type of dinner our family always has for christmas eve! except it’s chinese and we call it hot pot. my mom always puts out a crazy spread…mmm…i can’t wait until Saturday night. hungry.

    happy holidays liz! don’t know if you saw, but platform is carrying ermie scarves now. maybe they should get some popomomo action too! :)
